Last Friday, I attended Nuvula's fashion show at Concept Ace Gallery. I've said this a million times but one of the best parts about these events is running into old and new friends. What better way than to bond over the ooos and aahs of a fashion show?
The show started out with a cellist and a violinist playing an almost eerie melody. Unlike the upbeat pumped up rhythm that blasts at most runways, this haunting melody continued to play throughout the show which perfectly synchronized with the fashion. If I were to describe Nuvula's pieces, it would definitely be Tim Burton meets Alice in Wonderland. I loved the velvet, dramatic shoulders, and mostly the teased puffs of hair.
