Kaitlyn poncho, Thrifted cutoffs, H&M leopard wedges, Rust floppy hat
On a weekend trip to San Diego, we spontaneously decided to go a little further down the coast to visit Mexico. Never having crossed the border south of California, I wasn't sure what to expect with the never too friendly rumors and warnings.
Coincidentally I was wearing my Kaitlyn poncho but it couldn't compare to the amazing vibrantly hued knits that were spread out in touristy Tijuana. I have a weird obsession with skulls and was thrilled to walk into a shop filled with items dedicated for Dia de Los Muertos. I bought an intricately painted case that I now use as a jewelry box.
After getting through the endless storm of vendors bombarding us with dreamcatchers, sombreros, and woven blankets, we watched the sunset at the tranquil Playas de Rosarito while eating Mexican frozen fruit bars.
You have the cutest clothes! & that's fun that you get to travel a lot. (:

I live in SD and never been to Mexico. Honestly I'm a bit afraid to go because of the drug wars. Look fun and you look good. All that candy looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like an AMAZING day! That's what life should always be about :)
