Finally had a chance to visit the Los Angles Arboretum. It's strange to think a place like this exists right in the middle of a bustling city.I probably looked ridiculous snapping photos in chunky platforms and a girly dress amidst the local hikers and peacocks freely roaming around. I found the heart cut out dress by Ask Grace at Crossroads. I've never heard of the brand before but the dress is adorable. Doesn't the back cut out look like a cat's face? Meow.

Visit the arboretum if you live in LA. It's a nice getaway from the city. Rose gardens, Witch Willow Trees, a waterfall, and concrete pavement - Call me pathetic but I think it's the most amount of camping-like conditions I can be exposed to.

After the Arboretum I went to see The xx at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Both of my favorites in one place, it couldn't have been a better combination. I was in fangirl giddy mode as it was beyond impossible to get the tickets that sold out mere seconds after they went on sale. Gorgeous set and hypnotic vocals, I feel like I'm still coming off the adrenaline rush from the show. It was funny to see the band cruising around the cemetery in a golf cart before the show started. In the middle of their set, Oliver Sim said, "I never thought we would be performing in a graveyard." Definitely my favorite show of 2012.
