After a failed attempt to shoot on a locked up rooftop, we snuck into an empty loft we happened to come across instead. When you're wearing a flowy dress in a wide open space, twirls and pirouettes are a must. The dreamy mint shades of the dress make it impossible to take my eyes off of. On a side note, LA's heat is still disgusting. It's difficult to leave the house covered enough without being labeled as inappropriate. My method of survival has been chiffon, sheer and mesh. Easy breezy.

I also love the chiffon dress I'm wearing. I'm all about movement and silhouette so I love the unique cut of the sheer hem that flows when I walk. (You can probably tell from the photos I'm suffering from the stubborn heatwave in Los Angeles. I've been sporting everlasting rosy cheeks and melted makeup mixed with sweat for weeks. Sorry, you probably didn't want to visualize that.)

A weekend spent camping in the mountains confirmed that I am too much of a city junkie to ever truly enjoy being outdoors. We stopped on our way back to LA to snap these photos.

I think I get more excited about the stops along the way than the actual destination itself during road trips. I'm a sucker for exploring ghost towns and scenery that lures you by serving as a perfect backdrop for a shot.

A tee and a maxi skirt never gets tiring, especially when the flowy pleats are a fun poppin blood orange.
